.COAVER OPEN: Sunday sees the start of the Coaver Open which is an all-day tournament providing a full day of volleyball for all, with each team playing around 9 or 10 matches. The Coaver Open is limited to 70 teams with up to 30 teams max in the Junior Open. For a number of years events have sold out, so if you want to come play with us you have to get in early !

 Playing: Teams comprise 6 players. Teams are seeded in the morning pools, with the top teams in each pool progressing to the cup competition in the afternoon.

All other teams progress to either the Plate competition or the Bowl competition dependant on finishing positions in the morning pools. This gives all teams the opportunity to progress through the tournament and compete for trophies and / or prizes.

Afternoon competitions: The morning pools are completed by around 1.30pm. Afternoon matches then start around 2pm with all matches played in Pools, and with the top teams playing off in the final for each event. Junior teams wishing to enter the latter stages of the Senior open will do so at around 2.30pm.

Finals: the Cup Final is held immediately after the pool matches are complete, giving all teams the opportunity to watch this spectacle. Plate and Shield finals take place after the Cup final.

Prizes: There are trophies and / or prizes for winners and runners up in each of the Cup, Plate and Bowl events.

Entry Fee: £30 per team.

Tournament Registration starts at 9.45am, with matches scheduled to start soon after 10am.

Final: All teams play through until around 4.30pm, immediatley followed by the Cup, Plate and Bowl finals, directly in front of the bar.

Camping and parking: teams entering the Coaver Open can camp overnight on saturday and / or sunday evening(s) free of charge.
